AUSTRALIAN beauty innovators, Harlotte Cosmetics, are official makeup sponsors of Fiji Fashion Week (FJFW 2016), the South Pacific most eminent fashion event.
Renowned for their fresh, dewy look and sensual sophistication, Harlotte Cosmetics will grace the faces of 50 local models each night of FJFW at Suva’s Vodafone Arena, from September 5-10.
The Sydney-based beauty house gained experience with local models and designers during the Pacific Resort Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Australia’s largest fashion affair, this past May.
“We worked really well with the Fijian designers at the Pacific Resort Show and they loved our work, and invited our team to Fiji for fashion week, which we are so very excited about,
said Michelle Crofts, founder and Creative Director of Harlotte Cosmetics.
The brand’s expert team of makeup artists are thrilled to be FJFW’s sole makeup sponsor, and will launch a new cosmetic for local consumers.
In the last two months, we have had our lab formulate a new foundation colour to match the skin tone of the beautiful, local Fijian girls and we will launch this colour at FJFW,
Ms Crofts confirmed.
Soft eyes, highlighted cheekbones and matte, bold lips, will be one of the key looks to expect on the runway.
FJFW Managing Director, Ellen Whippy-Knight lauded the collaboration with such a high-end cosmetic line.
Harlotte have not only worked on Fashion Weeks, but other related events, so they understand the demands of such a job order, and it is also crucial to work with specialists because it is so different from domestic use of makeup,
I worked with Harlotte at Australian Fashion Week this year and found them to be so charming and organised, even under pressure. It was this professionalism and easy- to- work- with nature that prompted me to invite them to FJFW,
Mrs Whippy-Knight added.
Fast becoming Australia’s makeup brand of choice, Harlotte Cosmetics are currently stocked in approximately 400 salons across Australia, and will soon begin retailing in Fiji.
